There’s certainly no rule that historical romance covers must feature half naked men and fluffy dresses. Given the originality of The Last Lady B (which happens to be my first near-Gothic!), my publishers wanted an appropriately fresh look, so we asked the talented illustrator Jason Raish to dream up a sassy lady.
