The Lucky Duck Club

Have you joined the Lucky Duck Club? One dark and sad day, Eloisa had to throw away the beginning of a novel and start over. What to do in that situation? Why, meet a dear friend for a consolation drink, of course! Eloisa and Linda Francis Lee met at a wine bar, and Linda popped an adorable little duck out of her pocket. Sure enough, by the end of a glass or two of wine, Eloisa knew what her new story was about! Now that little duck swims on Eloisa's desk—and its twin swims on Linda's.

Join Eloisa and Linda in the Lucky Duck Club for special giveaways! Prizes include advanced reader copies and Swarovski duck crystals!

Easter Eggs

Would you like to see a picture of Fletch (from Affair Before Christmas) or a photo of the nightgown Simeon designed for Isidore in When the Duke Returns?  Those are a few of the newest eggs but there are lots of others, telling you everything from the movie star on whom Eloisa based Jem, the hero of Duchess by Night, and the numbers of babies one couple ended up with!

Eloisa is offering an Easter Egg Cheat Sheet exclusively for registered readers so you can easily find out where all those luscious eggs are hiding! You can track which ones you've already found with the help of our egg tracker. Do you see one here? click me! Remember, the refresh button is your friend! (Technical note: if you find an egg, be sure to disable your pop-up blocker before clicking it -- for PC users that usually means holding down the control key while clicking.) Want to read about the making of these fun little eggs? Visit Eloisa's site page!

My Hero!

Common to the literary traditions of many cultures is the notion of the gods and divine heroes who took time off from matters supernatural to look for love (or its more earthly counterpart) among mere mortals... And as I write this, The Avengers is about to open in theaters across America—and more than a few women in the audience wouldn't mind slipping their phone number to a superhero in spandex...
